The name and image of the collection, designed for Kerasan by Massimiliano Cicconi, pay homage to the refined classical architecture of the bathrooms in the historic Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. Capable of creating a classy yet cosy setting, the elements that make up the collection prefer rectangular geometric shapes and enrich them with refined details such as rounded corners and profiles embellished with double edges. Sophisticated in appearance but comfortable to use, washbasins, bidets, toilets and urinals reinterpret the superb and monumental allure of the furniture of the early twentieth century, and translate it into bathroom fixtures that blend a classic imprint with contemporary functionality. Ideal to integrate with furnishings oriented both to tradition and to more modern trends, they combine the prestige of 'Made in Italy', the reliability of superior quality ceramic and the preciousness of fittings and details in chrome. The collection represents a stylistic choice that, without giving up practicality and functionality, transforms every bathroom into an elite environment, both in private and public contexts.
The Waldorf collection offers a particularly wide range of sanitary fittings and accessories, making it a solution for furnishing bathrooms of all sizes. The range of washbasins is particularly wide. All united by a light yet detailed line, the sinks are available in the classic column version or in the more graceful wall-mounted version. To adapt to rooms of different sizes, the wall-mounted washbasins are proposed in 4 sizes: from the maxi model, which, with its 120-cm width, can easily become the protagonist of the entire room, to the medium variants of 100 and 80 cm, up to the space-saving washbasin that contains functionality and elegance in only 60 cm. The model with limited width is also made in the column version, while, for large rooms or for particular needs, there is also an interesting 150-cm sink with 2 bowls. The latter doubles the possibility of use, taking up more space, without giving up the elegant lightness that distinguishes the entire range.
An alternative for an exclusive design bathroom, without excluding practicality, is offered by the possibility of combining the sink with metal structures and wooden furniture. More oriented to a classical image, the metal structures offer open compartments to keep toiletries and accessories handy and complete the structure with further decorative details. The wooden furniture has a much more modern look: wall-mounted, defined by soft profiles, which perfectly follow the perimeter of the washbasins, complete with drawers and flap doors for an environment in which order and aesthetic taste are dominant. When the choice is oriented to a washbasin complete with its own wooden or metal structure, the colour range is also extensive. This piece of furniture is available in walnut, white or with a lacquered finish in burgundy or green. Metal structures can be chosen with a bronze, gold or chrome finish. The bidets, in the wall-mounted or floor-standing version, are accompanied by toilets that feature models with wall-mounted, high-level or low-level toilet cisterns. Both toilets and bidets are made in an innovative prolonged shape that facilitates an elegant management of the drain pipes in all circumstances. In its originality Waldorf offers 2 urinals, with a wall-mounted or floor-standing option, which tastefully emphasise the twentieth-century flavour of the collection.
